Designed by Swiss architect Hans Pfister, Oasis is a unique combination of artfully curved concrete roofs and angled interior walls. The living and utility areas of the house occupy almost 5000 square feet, the main house being all on one level.
The main house features two master suites at opposite ends of the house, separated by the kitchen and living room area, complemented by a formal dining room that comfortably seats eight guests and a combination media room/study which is air conditioned. Either of those rooms could easily be modified to serve as a third bedroom.
Professionally furnished and decorated with elegant artwork, the style throughout focuses on relaxation and comfort. 14 foot ceilings in the main hallway and numerous high windows keep the house brightly lit during daylight hours and assure good circulation. The unique 5 panel folding glass door across the front of the living area creates a 16 foot opening removing the barrier between inside and outside and creating an entertainment space that can easily accommodate 50 guests.
The house will be sold furnished and complete with artwork, each room benefiting from leather, teak and rattan pieces carefully selected to create a comfortable, attractive atmosphere. Floors throughout are a combination of bamboo planking and ceramic tiles.
The gourmet kitchen, designed for formal or informal entertaining, has all stainless steel appliances including a 6 burner gas cook top and built in oven.
Above the double garage 25 meters from the main house is an elegantly furnished, self contained one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and a bathroom with soaking tub. The views from the apartment match those of the main house.
