There’s a bus system a kilometre away from the house making it easy to travel to and from town without needing a car. This spot is in Santa Rosa de Rio Nuevo. Nearby you’ll find a clinic and some lovely local eateries.

For me, this place truly stood out as one of the destinations I’ve ever been to. The weather was pleasantly cool without being overly cold. The scenery was simply breathtaking. It’s a gem in Costa Rica for anyone looking to settle down, grow their food, and fully embrace the local culture. You can reach Dominical Beach in 45 minutes for a quick day trip, by the ocean. In San Isidro, there’s a vibrant expat community waiting to welcome you and help you feel at home in the area.
