Located in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the Paseo de la Dante Biological corridor you will be surrounded by primary and secondary rainforest, These reserves account for at least 20% of the total fauna, 54% of the mammals, 59% of the birds and over 330 species of butterflies maintaining a "high value in terms of exosystem's, biodiversity, water resources, and connectivity." The corridor is a conservation area specifically designed to provide connectivity between the Osa Penninsula, including the jewel of Costa Rica, Corcovado National Park in the south the marine and terrestrial national parks and forest reserves to the north. "In fact, Corcovado National Park's greatest hope for maintaining connectivity rests squarely in the Path of the Tapir. This farm is found within one of the most intact landscapes in the corridor and makes up a crucial piece of continuous natural habitat.
The Tinamaste area is located in Southern Costa Rica at approximately 2,300 above sea elevation which makes it ideal for growing a variety of fruit, vegetables, and ornamentals. Honey is produced on the neighboring farms so there is a strong local commitment to chemical-free agriculture.
This farm has been preserved by one family for over 40 years and has no history of agrochemical use ensuring the land and water are clean and safe. Two year-round streams surround the property with in-stream swimming pools and stunning ocean, sunset, and mountain valley views.
